Assistant Finance Manager (Property)

An exciting Assistant Finance Manager (Property) job has just become available at one of the public-listed property development companies based in Petaling Jaya.

About the Assistant Finance Manager (Property) Role:
As the Assistant Finance Manager (Property), you will responsible for the full spectrum of reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the delivery of reporting pack for Singapore and Australia
• Responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, monthly closing and general Ledger for small and non-operating entities
• Liaise with internal team on tax compliance and preparation of returns
• Develop relationships with key stakeholders in the wider group to foster a culture of operational excellence
• Any other job responsibilities as and when assigned by the management

To succeed in this Assistant Finance Manager (Property) role, you must be a high energy, responsive, detail-oriented, and experienced leader with strong communication, presentation, negotiation, analytical, operational, and people skills.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting or professional qualification (e.g. ACCA or CPA) - compulsory requirement ACCA or CPA qualification
• Minimum of five years' working experience in similar accounting function
• Prior experience in shared services environment is an added advantage
• Experience with ERP systems is an added advantage
• High values of honesty, integrity and strong work ethic
• Strong leadership skills – Train, mentor and motivate individuals and teams across the business
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Excellent time management and ability to adhere to strict deadlines
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Proactive and resourceful with the ability to work autonomously to identify improvements
• Working Hours: 7am - 4pm (in line with the Australia Team's working hours)
