An exciting Senior Finance and Accounting Manager job has just been made available at one of the IT cybersecurity companies.
About the Senior Finance and Accounting Manager Role:
In this business critical role, you will be responsible for the full spectrum of finance and accounting activity for Malaysia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of two in preparing the monthly closing of accounts and submission of financial reporting to the APAC Headquarters
- Coordinate with APAC FP&A team on monthly financial performance analyses (e.g. revenue, margins, costs variance)
- Monitor and follow-up on AR collections to drive DSO improvements
- Review monthly country performance dashboard with the Malaysia Country Manager and Management Team
- Ensure effective internal control systems are in place
To succeed in the Senior Finance and Accounting Manager job, you will need to have the ability to work effectively within a team environment and cooperatively with affiliates across the Asia Pacific region.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years' working experience in accounting/finance roles
- Business/commercial minded individual with extensive business partnering experience in the IT/cybersecurity industry
- Strong accounting and financial background
- Proven leadership skills. Ability to organise/allocate/delegate tasks to team while maintaining a hands-on attitude
- Efficient, hardworking, and positive work attitude. Self-motivated, able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
