Finance Manager (Retail)

A Finance Manager (Retail) job has become available at a rapidly expanding retail company. Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for financial, accounting, operational, treasury, tax and admin matters.

About the Finance Manager (Retail) Role:
In this business critical role, you will be responsible for the full spectrum of financial matters for Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce and support monthly financial reports
• Anticipate financial risks
• Optimise costs and efficiency of investments
• Improve the internal controls for the division
• Constantly monitor top-line and bottom-line and flag any risks or opportunities
• Closely monitor division sales and rebates to ensure is within forecast
• Maintain stringent control of actual expenses vs budget
• Work with marketing on action plans to clear slow moving stock
• Analyse business performance

To succeed in this Finance Manager (Retail) job, you will need to has strong analytical skills and business acumen.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of seven years of experience in a finance function in FMCG or retail companies
• Good communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
• Good proficiency in English
• Meticulous and able to handle challenges with a strong sense of responsibility and commitment
