Chief Financial Officer

A leading organisation in Malaysia is seeking a highly experienced Chief Financial Officer to join its executive team and play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of the business. This is an exceptional opportunity for a finance professional with extensive experience to oversee all aspects of financial management, drive strategic initiatives, and ensure robust corporate governance across the group.

What you'll do:

• Oversee the preparation, consolidation, and analysis of group-wide financial statements, management reports, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and insight-driven decision-making.
• Establish and enforce robust financial policies, internal controls, and risk management frameworks to ensure regulatory compliance, sound governance, and effective oversight across the organisation.
• Lead group-wide tax planning and compliance while overseeing procurement strategies, supplier management, and cost optimisation initiatives to enhance overall financial efficiency.
• Partner closely with IT leadership to deliver cost-effective, scalable technology solutions that align financial systems and investments with business objectives.
• Engage with the Board, investors, bankers, and key stakeholders on financial performance and strategy, while driving consistent group finance standards, talent development, and cross-functional collaboration.

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Financial Accounting) with recognised professional certification such as Chartered Accountancy from an established body.
• Bring over 20 years of senior finance leadership experience within large, complex organisations or multinational corporations.
• Possess extensive experience engaging with Boards of Directors, investors, bankers, shareholders, and other senior stakeholders.
• Offer deep functional expertise across finnace, treasury management, internal controls, procurement and technology.
