Chief Financial Officer (Public Listed Company)

A prominent publicly listed company in Kuala Lumpur is appointing a Chief Financial Officer to join its executive leadership team. This key role will oversee the organisation’s financial strategy, including financial planning, reporting, and capital management.

What you'll do:

• Provide strategic financial leadership, partnering with the CEO and executive team on long-term business planning and financial risk management
• Oversee end-to-end financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance
• Lead corporate finance activities encompassing capital structure optimisation, funding strategies, and investment decisions
• Manage investor relations, ensuring clear, transparent, and effective communication with shareholders and the wider investment community
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance function, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to drive operational efficiency, cost optimisation, and business transformation initiatives

What you bring:

• A Bachelor’s degree or recognised professional qualification in accounting or finance
• A minimum of five years’ experience serving as a Chief Financial Officer within a large organisation
• Proven experience within a Malaysian publicly listed company, combined with a Big Four professional background
• Strong industry exposure within real estate and manufacturing sectors
• Demonstrated business acumen with the ability to engage, influence, and manage diverse stakeholders
