This role offers an attractive salary range of RM300,000 to RM360,000 per annum and is based in the vibrant city of Kuala Lumpur. What you'll do:
As the Head of Accounts, you will be at the forefront of our client's financial operations. You will lead the corporate finance team, overseeing statutory consolidation and reporting requirements. Your role will be crucial in driving initiatives to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. As part of the senior leadership team, your input will be invaluable in steering the business forward. You will also oversee all financial, accounting and administration functions. Your expertise will ensure that business strategy plans are based on sound financial basis and analysis. Furthermore, you will maintain an active role in strategic planning issues of the company.
* Lead the corporate finance team and oversee statutory consolidation and reporting requirements.
* Drive initiatives to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
* Play a pivotal role in steering the business forward as part of the senior leadership team.
* Oversee financial, accounting and administration functions including financial accounting, management accounting, statutory reporting, taxation, treasury and audit.
* Ensure business strategy plans are based on sound financial basis and analysis.
* Maintain an active role in strategic planning issues of the Company.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Head of Accounts position brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the table. You must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy or professional qualifications (ACCA/CPA/ICAEW) and preferably be a member of MIA. With a minimum of 10 years' experience in senior accounting leadership roles, you have a proven track record in managing a team of Accountants. Your prior experience in large conglomerates or listed companies will be invaluable in this role. You have strong exposure and knowledge of Group Consolidated Accounts, Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and local tax regulations. Your strategic mindset, coupled with your analytical skills, make you a strong candidate for this role. Your great leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills will be crucial in this position. Lastly, your high professional integrity and business ethics set you apart from the rest.
