About the CFO (Based in KL, with 50% travelling to Johor) Role: In this position, you will be responsible for financial reporting, management reporting and group consolidation for all entities under the group, overseeing a team of 15 headcounts.
Provide strategic recommendations for the top management team and shareholders
Be responsible for the planning, implementation, managing and running of all the finance activities, including business planning, budgeting, forecasting and negotiations
Ensure compliance with all statutory, tax and shareholder requirements
Control and present the annual business plan and re-forecasts
Appraise executive team of financial position and forecasts
Control and provide input into decisions relating to investment proposals and projects that involves fund raising
Direct the analysis of new proposals providing commercial and financial input, particularly in relation to new products and initiatives
Monitor and advise shareholders on the optimum utilisation of financial resources
Work with cross-functional teams - legal attorney, company secretary, auditor and tax advisers to ensure successful implementation of any corporate exercise
Periodical review and analysis of financial information to ensure compliance of company policies and procedures
To succeed in this CFO (50% travelling to Johor) role, you will need to have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Candidate must possess a professional qualification (ACCA/CPA/ICAEW/MICPA)
At least 25 years of relevant experience in group management reporting, taxation, and finance digitisation, preferably in a public listed company
Confident with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and aggressive environment
Strong analytical skills, highly motivated and results-oriented
Comfortable to travel (50%) to Johor
Candidate who has been involved with IPO exercise will be prioritised
