An exciting CFO (Based in KL, with 50% travelling across Malaysia) job has just become available at one of the large organisations based in Kuala Lumpur. Reporting to the CEO, you will be a part of a dynamic team.

About the CFO (Based in KL, with 50% travelling across Malaysia) Role:
In this position, you will be responsible for financial reporting, management reporting and group consolidation for all entities under the Group, overseeing a team of 15 headcounts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic recommendations for Top Management Team and shareholders
• Responsible for the planning, implementation, managing and running of all the finance activities, including business planning, budgeting, forecasting and negotiations
• Ensure compliance with all statutory, tax and shareholder requirements
• Control and present the annual business plan and re-forecasts
• Appraise executive team of financial position and forecasts
• Control and provide input into decisions relating to investment proposals and projects that involves fund raising
• Direct the analysis of new proposals providing commercial and financial input, particularly in relation to new products and initiatives
• Monitor and advise shareholders on the optimum utilisation of financial resources
• Work with cross-functional teams - legal attorney, company secretary, auditor and tax advisors to ensure successful implementation of any corporate exercise
• Periodical review and analysis of financial information to ensure compliance of company policies and procedures

To succeed in the CFO (Based in KL, with 50% travelling across Malaysia) role, you will need to have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key requirements:

• Candidate must possess a Professional Qualification (ACCA/CPA/ICAEW/MICPA)
• At least 20 years of relevant experience in Group Management Reporting, Taxation, and finance transformation, preferably in a Public Listed Company
• Confident with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced and aggressive environment
• Strong analytical skills, highly motivated and results oriented
• Confortable to travel (50%) accross Malaysia
