Due to business expansion, an accounting firms in Malaysia is recruiting for an Audit Principle/Partner.
About the Audit Principle/Partner Role:
In this business critical role, you will supervise a portfolio of clients and generate business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a group of 5 - 10 senior staff and managers
- Review work performed by senior staff and managers to ensure they meet the required quality
- Lead IPO assignments as a reporting accountant
- Manage audit assignments and resolve audit and accounting issues
- Must be conversant with accounting and auditing standards and technically well-grounded to handle complex audit and accounting issues
- Ability to groom and inspire the team to achieve an excellent grasp of technical knowledge and produce high-quality audit work
To succeed in this Audit Principle/Partner job, you will need to have past experience working in an accounting firm.
Key Requirements:
- Relevant professional qualification (MICPA, ACCA, ICAEW, ICA, ICAA, CPA(A), or CIMA) and/or a registered MIA member
- At least 15 years of experience in the profession
- Technically sound in accounting standards, auditing standards and relevant laws
- Client service mindset, proven leadership skills as well as a strong appreciation of business issues
