What you'll do:

As a Corporate Finance Executive based in Kuala Lumpur, you will immerse yourself in a variety of responsibilities that centre around investor relations initiatives. Your day-to-day work will involve collaborating with both internal teams and external consultants to ensure that all aspects of shareholder engagement are managed effectively. You will be instrumental in preparing detailed investor materials for quarterly results presentations as well as ad-hoc briefings or meetings. Analysing market trends and peer performance will be crucial as you provide valuable insights to management. You will also manage corporate communication channels such as Bursa announcements and press releases pertaining to financial results or mergers. Preparing impactful presentations for GCEO townhall briefings will allow you to showcase key business highlights. Additionally, you will assist with annual report content creation—ensuring accuracy across all finance-related sections—and support AGM activities by preparing relevant financial slides. Your role will require you to co-operate with various departments to maintain consistency in investor communications while undertaking additional tasks assigned by management. Success in this position depends on your ability to connect with stakeholders through dependable communication practices while demonstrating enthusiasm for collaborative teamwork.

  • Support the organisation’s engagement with shareholders, analysts, and potential investors by facilitating transparent communication that enhances market confidence and visibility.
  • Prepare and coordinate comprehensive investor materials for quarterly results, ad-hoc briefings, meetings, and roadshows including Q&A preparation, logistics management, and follow-up actions to ensure seamless execution.
  • Monitor and analyse market trends, peer performance, analyst coverage, and relevant industry developments to provide timely updates to internal personnel and management.
  • Collaborate closely with appointed investor relations consultants in planning and executing all IR strategies and activities such as participation in investor conferences and roadshows.
  • Compile tender book and order book data for the group while analysing financial information to ensure accurate dissemination of strategic updates to key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to gather and verify information so that investor communications remain consistent, accurate, and up-to-date.
  • Manage corporate communication channels including Bursa announcements and press releases related to financial results, merger and acquisition transactions, as well as updates on the corporate IR portal.
  • Prepare quarterly GCEO townhall briefing presentations focusing on financial performance and key business highlights to keep leadership informed.
  • Assist in preparing annual report content including MDNA, Chairman’s Statement, Financial Highlights, coordination of finance-related sections; support AGM activities by preparing financial slides and anticipated Q&A.
  • Undertake any other tasks or assignments related to corporate finance or investor relations as assigned by management.
