What you'll do:
As an Assistant Vice President for Strategic Planning & Portfolio Management, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our client's property investment pillar. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include developing long-term corporate goals, monitoring business plan execution, identifying market trends, and providing leadership for planning cycles. You'll also collaborate with various internal teams to ensure smooth execution of corporate initiatives. Your analytical skills will be put to good use as you assist in drafting, tracking, and reporting on value creation projects. Additionally, you'll manage OKR setting and monitor key metrics.
* Develop long-term corporate goals and value proposition initiatives.
* Monitor and evaluate business plan execution and performance metrics.
* Identify and analyze market trends, macroeconomic factors, and competitive positioning.
* Provide leadership and coordination for annual planning and budgeting cycles.
* Prepare reports and recommendations for periodic reviews.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of corporate planning initiatives.
* Assist the Transformation & Change Management team by drafting, tracking and reporting value creation projects.
* Manage OKR setting and subsequent monitoring of OKR metrics.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Assistant Vice President for Strategic Planning & Portfolio Management role brings a wealth of experience in corporate strategy or business analysis. You have a strong understanding of financial concepts, key performance indicators, and business metrics. Your excellent command of both English and Bahasa Melayu allows you to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Your strong communication skills are matched by your problem-solving abilities. You're able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing tasks effectively.
* Minimum Tertiary education preferably in Accounting / Finance / Business Study / Economics / Engineering or equivalent.
* Experience in corporate strategy or business analysis is essential.
* Strong understanding of financial concepts, key performance indicators and business metrics.
* Excellent command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Melayu.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with problem-solving ability.
* Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
