What you'll do:
As a Senior Manager for Corporate Planning, your role will be pivotal in leading the corporate planning and portfolio management functions within our client's organisation. You will be responsible for formulating corporate strategies, developing business plans, and initiating key strategic initiatives. Your excellent problem-solving skills will be utilised in challenging investee companies' KPIs during the strategic planning process. You will also develop and monitor corporate KPIs using OKR/balance scorecard frameworks. Your role will involve preparing regular reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management to track progress against strategic goals. Additionally, you will produce relevant market research for Strategic Business Units (SBUs) and organise annual board retreats.
- Lead the formulation of corporate strategy, business plans, and key strategic initiatives for the group.
- Challenge investee companies' corporate KPIs during the strategic planning process.
- Develop and monitor corporate KPIs using OKR/balance scorecard frameworks, providing early interventions when necessary.
- Prepare regular reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management to track progress against strategic goals and objectives.
- Produce and disseminate relevant market research to Strategic Business Units (SBUs).
- Organize the annual board and management retreat.
- Closely track and monitor the performance of investee companies.
- Assist in troubleshooting issues within investee companies, particularly those involving cross-divisional or business unit challenges.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with the company's portfolio of projects and investments.
