An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Corporate Finance Manager to join a dynamic team in Kuala Lumpur. This role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced environment, where you will be responsible for loan origination, cash flow projection, and managing investment portfolios among other tasks. What you'll do:

As an Assistant Corporate Finance Manager, your primary role will be to originate loans for project financing and manage working capital requirements. You will also be tasked with performing cash flow projections for various projects under development. Monitoring the availability, drawdown, and repayment of bank borrowings along with financial costs will fall under your purview. Additionally, you will review financing terms and loan documents while managing the company’s investment portfolio to optimize income/return from short-term investments. Assisting in fundraising exercises and performing other related tasks as assigned will also be part of your responsibilities.

  • Originate loans for project financing and working capital requirements
  • Perform cash flow projections for project development
  • Monitor the availability, drawdown, and repayment of bank borrowings and financial costs
  • Review financing terms and loan documents
  • Manage the company’s investment portfolio and optimize income/return from short-term investments
  • Assist in fundraising exercises
  • Perform all other related tasks assigned from time to time

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Assistant Corporate Finance Manager position is someone who holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance/Banking/Accounting/Economics or any other related field. You should have at least 4 years of relevant experience under your belt. Your analytical skills should be top-notch, allowing you to make informed decisions based on data analysis. You should be able to work independently but also thrive as part of a team. Excellent communication and writing skills are essential for this role, as is competency in using Microsoft Office applications. Your problem-solving skills should be complemented by resourcefulness.

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Banking/Accounting/Economics or other related field
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience
  • Good analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Good communication and writing skills
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of staff
  • Competency in the use of Microsoft office applications
  • Problem-solving skills and resourcefulness
