Our client is seeking a Director of Strategic Planning & Investment to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop financial and business strategies, enhance business performance, and manage financial reports across different business locations
In this role the candidate will play a key role in the senior management team, leading and motivating staff in the Finance, Treasury, and Tax division. This position requires strong communication skills, high integrity, commitment, and the ability to work under pressure.

What you'll do:
As a Director of Strategic Planning & Investment, you will be responsible for developing financial and business strategies that enhance overall business performance. You will monitor financial and management reports across different business locations, ensuring their timeliness, completeness, accuracy, and reliability. Your role will also involve regular reviews of existing internal and accounting control systems to ensure compliance with group Standard Operating Procedures. You will drive improvements in terms of system and processes across Group companies. Additionally, you will manage and oversee regional offices in respect of statutory audit, tax, and other financial management functions.

- Regularly review existing internal and accounting control systems for compliance with group Standard Operating Procedures
- Drive improvement in terms of system and processes across Group companies
- Manage and oversee regional office in respect of statutory audit, tax and other financial management functions
- Engage with external auditors on audit programme and timetable for year-end statutory audit
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Director of Strategic Planning & Investment role will bring a Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Qualification in Finance and Accountancy (CPA/ACCA/CIMA/MIA). You should have at least 10 years of working experience in Accounting/Finance roles. A strong command of spoken and written English is essential for this role. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who is a strong team player able to work under pressure. In-depth analytical skills with an eye for details are crucial for this role. Strong communication and presentation skills are also required.
