They are seeking an Assistant Manager for their Corporate Strategy team based in Putrajaya. This role offers a competitive salary range of RM96,000 to RM120,000. What you'll do:
As an Assistant Manager in Corporate Strategy, your role will be pivotal in shaping the future direction of our client's business. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive market research to identify trends and opportunities that can be leveraged for business growth. Your ability to translate these insights into actionable strategies will be key in maintaining our client's competitive edge in the industry. Additionally, you will source and evaluate potential investment opportunities while also identifying strategic collaborations with external partners. Your role will also involve managing these partnerships to ensure mutual value is achieved. Furthermore, you will assist in formulating business strategies aligned with the Group’s objectives for sustainable growth.
* Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify industry trends, opportunities, and challenges.
* Translate market insights into actionable strategies to enhance our competitive advantage and drive business growth.
* Source and evaluate potential investment opportunities, including new business ventures, joint ventures (JVs), and venture capital deals.
* Identify and pursue strategic collaboration opportunities with external partners.
* Manage partnerships and alliances to drive mutual value and achieve strategic objectives.
* Assist in developing and formulating business strategy.
* Oversee strategic reviews and executions of these strategies and investment projects.
* Conduct regular reviews and evaluations of investments to assess performance.
* Provide insights and reports to senior management on strategy execution and investment outcomes.
* Coordinate innovation initiatives and projects within the organization.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Assistant Manager position brings a wealth of experience in corporate strategy. With a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or Economics coupled with at least 5 years' experience in market research, strategic planning, investment analysis and partnership management, you are well-equipped to take on this role. Your strong analytical skills will be crucial in interpreting data and translating it into actionable strategies. Your ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment will be key to your success in this role. Furthermore, your strategic thinking capabilities and results-oriented mindset will drive the business forward.
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related field.
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in market research, strategic planning, investment analysis, and partnership management.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data.

* Strategic thinking capabilities with a results-oriented mindset.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Bloomberg Terminal.
* Strong sense of accountability with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
