Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager for their Investment team. This role is an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic team within the Real Estate sector.
The successful candidate will be instrumental in providing leadership, planning, financial management, negotiation, feasibility, due diligence, partnership development, deal structuring, risk management and investment strategy optimization.

What you'll do:
As a Senior Manager - Investment, you will be at the forefront of leading the Investment Team within the Real Estate sector. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include leading real estate investment deal evaluations and structuring, initiating strategic partnerships and managing financial aspects of projects. You will also be responsible for preparing pitch materials for prospective clients and partners, supporting the preparation of Investment Memos for Senior Management and Board approvals. Your role will also involve leading, coaching and managing a team of analysts and associates to ensure deliverables are met efficiently within schedule and budget.
- Lead real estate investment deal evaluation & structuring.
- Initiate real estate fund management, strategic partnerships, joint ventures, mergers & acquisitions.
- Prepare feasibility studies including market research, deal structure, financial modelling.
- Oversee transactional aspects ensuring timely completion and project kickoff.
- Prepare pitch materials for prospective clients and partners.
- Support and prepare Investment Memos for Senior Management and Board approvals.
- Lead, coach and manage team of analysts and associates.
- Coordinate & review business strategy, annual operating plans.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Senior Manager Investment role brings a wealth of experience in Fund Management, JV Partnerships, Asset Acquisitions or Mergers & Acquisitions within the Real Estate industry. You have a strong understanding of the Real Estate Investment process and cycle. Your excellent command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Melayu coupled with your strong communication and interpersonal skills make you an effective leader. Your ability to manage client relationships and supervise a team will be crucial in this role.
- Minimum Tertiary education preferable in Real Estate / Finance / Investment / Accounting / Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience in Fund Management, JV Partnerships, Asset Acquisitions or Mergers & Acquisitions within Real Estate industry is essential.
- Proficiency in Real Estate Investment process and cycle is essential.
- Prior experience of Corporate Strategy is an added advantage.
- Professional Certification in Real Estate/Investment/Corporate Finance is an added advantage.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Melayu.
- Good client relationship management and team supervisory skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with problem-solving ability.
