What you'll do:
As a Senior Manager in our Treasury department, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of our organisation. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive evaluations and reviews on various business options and proposals. You will also be tasked with formulating schemes on corporate proposals and ensuring all necessary documentation is prepared accurately. Additionally, you will advise on regulatory compliance and disclosure requirements while maintaining constant communication with relevant professional parties and authorities.
- Conduct evaluation and review on business options/proposals, feasibility studies, due diligence exercise, financial restructuring and financial models/projections.
- Formulate schemes on corporate proposals, prepare all documents pertaining to the proposal including board papers, announcements, press release, circulars to shareholders.
- Advise on regulatory compliance and disclosure requirements.
- Check compliance and review disclosures as well as documentation in presentation materials, legal documents, circulars, prospectus, press documents, applications to authorities.
- Liaise with the relevant professional parties and authorities.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Senior Manager - Treasury position brings a wealth of experience in corporate finance within the merchant banking sector. With a minimum of eight years' experience under your belt, you have developed an excellent understanding of capital markets, securities law and guidelines issued by relevant authorities. Your strong writing and research skills enable you to structure investment and corporate finance proposals effectively. Above all else, your excellent interpersonal skills allow you to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Economics or professional qualification ie ACCA, MICPA or CFA.
- Minimum 8 years of working experience with at least 4 years of corporate finance experience in the merchant banking environment.
- Good knowledge of the capital markets, securities law and guidelines issued by the relevant authorities.
- Possess good writing and research skills with the ability to structure investment and corporate finance proposals.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Self-motivated and highly adaptive in challenging working environment.
