An exciting Head of OTC & Treasury job has just become available at one of the retail firms based in Kuala Lumpur. Reporting to the Senior Finance Director, you will be a part of the dynamic team.

About the Head of OTC & Treasury Role:
In this position, you will be overseeing both the OTC and treasury team, with a total headcount of 20 people.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop finance organisational strategies by contributing financial and accounting information, analysis, and recommendations to strategic thinking and direction, establishing functional objectives in line with organisational objectives
• Manage the entire accounting function for one or multiple entities including but not limited to set-up and management of accounting policies, estimates and necessary ERP systems
• Manage daily collection basis store sales and ensuring sales are reconciled on a daily basis
• Manage all internal and external audit including related AR filing, board meeting and necessary resolutions
• Ensure treasury activities are in compliance with treasury activities are optimally structured from a treasury perspective and are hedged in line with Treasury policy, accounting guidelines, governance policies and internal control
• Oversee the company's cash flow by maintaining accurate cash forecasts, monitoring daily cash positions, and optimising cash balances across various accounts. Ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs while maximising returns on surplus funds.

To succeed in this Head of OTC & Treasury role, you will need to have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field (MBA or professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or CMA is preferred)
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with good attention to detail
• Fluent in English both verbal and written
• Ability to communicate professionally and clearly with counter-parties and colleagues at all levels and disciplines is critical
