About the Assistant Manager, Corporate Finance Role:
As the Assistant Manager, Corporate Finance, you will mainly be involved in handling the corporate finance, corporate transactions, and project development matters for the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing financial models for the evaluation of investments or projects, financing and for budgeting purposes, and analysing valuation and returns
• Performing research to gather data for use in financial models, internal management papers, presentation slides and information memoranda, etc, including research on companies and markets and preparation of risk matrices
• Assisting with preparation of information memoranda and internal management papers or presentations
• Interacting with financiers and other advisors during financing, project work and corporate transactions
• Collating corporate information, assist in producing write-ups for the purposes of annual and sustainability reports of parent company
• Participating in ad hoc projects as required

To succeed in this Assistant Manager, Corporate Finance role, you must be a self starter and independent person as well as a team player.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, or professional qualifications, e.g. ACCA
• Proven working experience in financial analyses, raising of funds via debt or capital markets and evaluation of projects
• Three to five years' working experience in related field (preferably with experience in power generation/energy sector)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and financial software applications
• Strong communication and writing skills
• Ability to travel overseas as and when required
