Manager Risk Management

About the Manager Risk Management Role:
As the Manager Risk Management, you will be responsible for proactively identifying, categorising, tracking and reporting on company-wide risk.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead risk management for the group of companies by the development of a risk register
• Coordinate, communicate and educate functional stakeholders of requirements accordingly. Identify, review and develop appropriate mitigation actions with timeframes
• Support and ensure alignment of local operational risk management polices with the group risk management strategy, and ensure operational risks are managed according to this overall group strategy
• Implement and communicate a risk control framework across the group of companies
• Implement monthly risk dashboard reporting, leadership team reporting
• Follow up with functional stakeholders on internal audit open items
• Ensure all organisational projects have a risk map framework as part of the applicable business case
• Compile quarterly Reporting of Matters of Serious Concern (MoSC)
• Coordinate and align with the insurance department with regards to insurance coverage for group of companies

To succeed in this Manager Risk Management role, you must be a high energy, responsive, detail-oriented, and an experienced leader with strong communication, presentation, negotiation, analytical, operational, and people skills.

Key Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in business/finance/accounting/investment/economics
• At least three years of work experience related to risk
• Team player with strong interpersonal and project management skills, resourceful, and able to deliver results under tight deadlines
• Written and verbal proficiency in English
• Good presentation and writing skills
