Senior Cost Manager

An attractive Senior Cost Manager job has just become available at a prestigious company based in Klang Valley. Reporting directly to the Head of Budget, this is a role for a finance expertise who is a leader in their field.

About the Senior Cost Manager Role:
In this business critical role, you will be responsible for preparing and analysing project costing and expense reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare management reporting based on finance budget and analysis
• Maintain cost accounting system and cost ledger
• Perform life cycle cost-benefit analysis
• Analyse inventory valuations
• Collect cost information and maintain an expenses database
• Construct data accumulation systems
• Determine fixed costs, plan and record variable costs
• Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies

To succeed in this Senior Cost Manager role, you must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in accounting or qualified professional qualifications (ACCA, CIMA, MICPA)
• At least eight years of work experience
• In-depth understanding of IFRS
• Familiarity with SAP accounting software application and standard Microsoft Office Applications (Excel/Word/PowerPoint)
