What you'll do:

  • Increase efficiency in internal workflow processes to support business growth and facilitate the successful implementation of SAP across finance operations.
  • Manage all accounts payable invoices and payments, including handling banking transactions and ensuring timely updates of financial data into the system.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records by preparing and updating audit schedules, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations at all times.
  • Assist with E-invoice processing and SST submissions, making sure all statutory requirements are met promptly and accurately.
  • Perform daily reconciliations of retail sales and collections, investigating any discrepancies thoroughly and resolving them in a timely manner to maintain financial integrity.
  • Support month-end closing activities by collaborating with other departments to ensure all financial transactions are recorded correctly and deadlines are consistently met.
  • Contribute to the management of accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, providing reliable support for cash flow monitoring and reporting needs.
  • Utilise Microsoft Excel proficiently for data analysis, reporting, and reconciliation tasks, helping to drive informed decision-making within the finance team.
  • Work closely with colleagues on ad hoc assignments as required, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to assist wherever needed within the department.
  • Engage with various accounting systems such as SAP or Oracle, adapting quickly to new technologies while maintaining high standards of accuracy.

  • Accounts payable (AP) functions ensures smooth financial operations.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are essential for performing complex reconciliations, data analysis, and generating insightful reports that inform business decisions.
