What you'll do:

• Handle the full set of accounts and manage monthly closing processes for several entities within the group, ensuring all financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
• Prepare comprehensive group consolidation reports while maintaining precision in intercompany transactions across different regions.
• Ensure timely completion of month-end and year-end closings in accordance with FRS/IFRS standards, supporting audit readiness at all times.
• Collaborate closely with auditors, tax agents, and company secretaries during annual audits and statutory filings to ensure seamless compliance.
• Generate monthly financial statements and management reports that provide valuable insights for business planning and review by senior management.
• Support budgeting and forecasting exercises by supplying detailed accounting data and clear variance explanations to aid strategic decisions.
• Manage corporate tax submissions, GST/VAT filings, withholding tax obligations, and coordinate with external consultants on complex cross-border matters.
• Monitor transfer pricing policies as well as intercompany transactions to guarantee arm’s-length compliance and maintain thorough documentation for all entities involved.
• Oversee payroll processing for teams in Singapore and Malaysia, ensuring statutory submissions such as CPF, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and PCB are completed accurately and punctually.
• Administer group cash flow monitoring, manage intercompany loans and bank facilities, and handle trade credit insurance processes including credit limit applications, renewals, declarations, overdue monitoring, claims follow-up, and liaison with insurers.

What you bring:

• A minimum of three to five years’ experience handling full set accounts and group reporting within multi-entity environments is essential for this role.
• Proven exposure to multi-currency operations across regional offices such as Singapore, Malaysia, Dubai or Taiwan is highly desirable.
• Hands-on experience coordinating audits with external parties as well as managing tax compliance requirements including GST/VAT filings is required.
• Demonstrated ability to monitor transfer pricing policies along with intercompany loan tracking ensures regulatory compliance across borders.
• Practical knowledge of treasury management functions such as cash flow monitoring or bank facility administration is advantageous.
• Experience administering trade credit insurance (preferably Euler Hermes) including application processes and claims follow-up adds significant value.
• A solid understanding of payroll processing requirements for both Singaporean (CPF) and Malaysian (EPF/SOCSO/EIS/PCB) teams is necessary.
• Background working within manufacturing, distribution or trading industries would be beneficial but not mandatory.
• Fluency in both English and Mandarin is required; additional language skills are considered an asset when liaising with diverse stakeholders.
• A diploma or higher qualification in accountancy or related field forms the educational foundation needed for this position.
