Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance Executive to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be stationed at Genting, where you will be directly reporting to the Group Financial Controller. You will be part of a property management business, focusing on Airbnb properties in Genting. What you'll do:

As a Finance Executive, your primary role will involve managing both Accounts Payable (AP) and General Ledger (GL) functions. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include processing invoices, ensuring timely payments, maintaining accurate records, and assisting in month-end closing activities. Additionally, you will also be responsible for maintaining the general ledger, preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and supporting financial statement preparation. Your meticulous attention to detail will ensure the smooth running of financial operations within the organisation.

• Process and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure timely and accurate payment of vendor invoices.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions.
• Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
• Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and post journal entries.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Finance Executive position brings along a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or a related field. With at least 2 years of experience in accounts payable and general ledger functions, you are proficient in using accounting software as well as Microsoft Office Suite. Your strong analytical skills enable you to solve problems effectively while your excellent attention to detail ensures that no error goes unnoticed. You are capable of working independently but also enjoy being part of a team. Your strong communication skills make you an effective collaborator.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable and general ledger functions.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
