Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts & Finance Manager to oversee the financial health and performance of their organisation. This role involves managing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to ensure optimal financial efficiency and compliance with regulations. The successful candidate will lead a finance team in analysing financial data, preparing statements, managing cash flow, and implementing financial strategies to drive business growth.

What you'll do:
As an Accounts & Finance Manager, you will be responsible for managing the overall financial health of the company. You will devise new accounting systems, prepare monthly financial reports, ensure compliance with Financial Reporting Standards, manage end-to-end financial processes including collections, payments, monthly close activities, balance sheet reconciliation. You will also manage accounts payable/receivable functions and liaise with both internal and external stakeholders. Your role includes supervising the accounts team to ensure high performance.
- Devise accounting systems including implementation of new systems and related enhancements
- Prepare and review monthly financial reports
- Ensure all accounting systems, practices, controls, and procedures are fully compliant with Financial Reporting Standards
- Control and manage end-to-end financial processes
- Manage the accounts payable and receivable functions
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Prepare statistics return / surveys to the relevant authorities when required
- Keep record of all taxes, licenses and fees payable by the company and ensure compliances
- Supervise and mentor the accounts team to ensure high performance
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Accounts & Finance Manager position brings a wealth of experience in finance management. With a degree in Finance & Accounting or equivalent professional qualifications such as ACCA/MIA/CPA, you have spent at least 8 years honing your skills in the field. Your strong leadership abilities are complemented by excellent communication skills and a knack for problem-solving. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is essential for this role. An added advantage would be your ability to communicate effectively in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
- Degree in Finance & Accounting or equivalent with professional qualifications such as ACCA/ MIA /CPA
- Minimum 8 years of working experience with at least 2 years as Finance Manager
- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Power Point etc.
- Ability to communicate in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin (added advantage)
