What you'll do:
As an AP Section Head, you will play a crucial role in managing the Trade Account Payable function. Your responsibilities will include processing and reviewing all supplier invoices in a timely manner, handling AP functions with both local and foreign suppliers, preparing bi-weekly cash flow forecasts, and assisting in SOX and external audit requirements. You will also be tasked with resolving any unmatched invoices or notes from suppliers, as well as uninvoiced receipts with buyers. Your ability to ensure continuous improvements in invoice processing, payment policies, guidelines, and process flows will be key to your success in this role.
- Process and review all suppliers’ invoices on a timely basis
- Resolve any unmatched invoices, credit note, debit note from suppliers
- Handle AP functions and dealing with local and foreign suppliers
- Prepare cash flow forecast on bi-weekly basis
- Review monthly suppliers’ reconciliation of statement
- Produce monthly reports & assist in month end closing
- Ensure the invoices processing, payment, policies, guidelines and process flows are updated, and reviewed for continuous improvements
- Assist in SOX and external audit requirements to ensure compliance
- Resolve uninvoiced receipts with buyers and suppliers
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the AP Section Head position will bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to the role. With a degree in Accounting or an equivalent professional qualification, you should have 5-7 years of experience working in finance or a related field. Your ability to handle AP and financial accounting tasks will be essential for this role. Additionally, computer literacy and supervisory skills are required. Experience with Oracle software is highly desirable, as is prior audit experience.
