AP Manager

An exciting AP Manager job has just become available at one of the luxury automotive companies based in Kuala Lumpur.

About the AP Manager Role:
As the AP Manager, you will be responsible for all aspect of finance operations of Accounts Payable and Fixed Assets. This encompasses all finance processes, internal controls and acting as the system owner for all accounting systems relating to Accounts Payable and Fixed Assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coach the Accounts Payable and Fixed Assets team
• Coordinate and liaise closely with business units or other operations function to ensure all daily transactions can be carried out with minimal disruptions and maintain strong compliance with the Company’s Limits of Authority (“LOA”), applicable approved accounting standards and Standard Operating Procedures (“SOP”)
• Manage and ensure all control procedures and reconciliations are timely
• Report and liaise with auditors
• Transform the Accounts Payable and Fixed Assets team into a modern and digitised section

To succeed in this AP Manager role, you must be a high-energy, responsive, detail-oriented, and experienced leader with strong communication, presentation, negotiation, analytical, operational, and people skills.

Key Requirements:

• Tertiary qualifications in Business/Finance/Accounting/Investment/Economics
• At least five years of work experience, with at least two years in leadership role
• Strong negotiation skills with a good understanding of current market practices
• Team player with strong interpersonal and project management skills, resourceful, and able to deliver results under tight deadlines
• Written and verbal proficiency in English
• Good presentation and writing skills
