An established electronics manufacturer is seeking a Team Leader (Regional). In this job, you will lead the accounts payable division for the Malaysian entity.
About the Team Leader (Regional) Role:
In this role, you will ensure that the day-to-day accounts payable processes, which also includes corporate credit card statement processing, travel and expenditure claims, are executed efficiently and accurately with minimum supervision where payments to suppliers and other payees are processed in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identifying the best practices in productivity and process standardisation of the AP function across the region
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in department procedures/processes
- Managing the team KPIs regarding accounts payable, employee claims, and payments
- Adhering to strict company policies and procedures, actively engaging when appropriate to ensure compliance is evolving with organisational needs and general business progression
To succeed in the Team Leader (Regional) role, you must possess at least five years of working experience handling accounts payable matters.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent
- Exposure to SAP system workflow and functionality is an advantage
- Proven ability to produce accurate and timely reports
- Working in a shared service function or multinational organisation can be considered with good leadership skills
- Confident and articulate communicator
- An eye for detail with strong numerical skills
