BUSINESS DIRECTOR
Location: Shah Alam, Malaysia
Report to: VP, SEA
Direct Reports: 5 managers (Network Development / Sales / CST / Finance / HR)
Job Summary:
- Define, implement and monitor business and quality targets
- Implement action plans to reach those targets
- Monitor financial performance
- Ensure respect of Procedures and Sales Conditions
- Manage the dealer operations
- Assure bottom line objectives
Key Tasks / Responsibilities / Authorities:
- Customer satisfaction / Volume / Profitability
- Maintaining the Volvo Brand image, core values and reputation.
- Develop SDLG sales in the scope of VCE’s dual brand strategy.
- Select, train, supervise, and evaluate all personnel to insure their attainment of high individual productivity and achievements.
- Managing, driving and developing the business, and report progress to the Hub Management
- Managing financial resources
Key Requirements:
- university graduate or higher
- 7 to 10 years of experience in the field of sales and marketing in the construction equipment/ heavy machinery industry
- commitment and experience in developing best practice in customer focused, process-based organisation
- possess industry/ dealer knowledge, and commercial knowledge
- previous experience in management of a Profit and Loss Entity
- strong leadership qualities, with a business mindset
- fluent in English, both written and verbal
- flexibility / adaptability
