Audit Manager, SME – Top Tier Foreign Bank

Report to: Head of Audit, SME

In line with exciting expansion plans for 2011, it is seeking dynamic and talented individuals to be part of its elite team of professionals in Group Market Risk function.
Job Responsibilities:
• Act as liaison with Management to ensure full understanding of business strategy, plans, products, performance and risk-related issues at business unit level and communicating these to the relevant Functional Team members
• Perform, support or lead where directed, the planning, fieldwork, and reporting of internal audit engagements to deliver agreed assurance objectives to established standards and timelines
• Provide non-assurance services to business units where required, through participation on advisory engagements / special projects within the Group
• Where undertaking the role of Team Leader, provide interim performance feedback to team members
• Share knowledge, skills and experience with team members to guide and assist in their development
• To identify and escalate significant issues
Key Requirements:
• Experienced internal auditor, risk professional or business practitioner who is a deep subject matter expert in Consumer Banking products, segments and or channels in particular SME.
• Accounting / Audit qualification preferred (including e.g. ACA, ACCA, IIA) or Audit of Corporate Banking Credit experience.
• Strong communicator with an ability to influence
• Highly credible with their counterparts in the business
• Effective written and presentation skills
• Ability to work with minimal direction
• Ability to commit to up to 40% business travel
