Head – Financial Accounting

Job Responsibilities:
Lead the financial accounting team
Play a pivotal role in challenging and influencing commercial decision while proactively providing support
Provide guidance and drive consistent application of accounting standards across subsidiaries and preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
Drive corporate governance, integrity and safeguard the assets of the respective subsidiaries
Establish, maintain and enhance accounting processes, procedures, and controls
Liaise with tax authorities, auditors, regulators
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or professional qualification in Finance/Accounting or equivalent. Preferably with MBA. (working experience in the telco industry would be an advantage)
Exposure to structured internal controls, policies and procedures in multinational/large corporations
Conversant with International Financial Reporting Standards
Advance skills in MS Office (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint & Words) and SAP
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and able to interact across different cultures.
Ability to work independently, lead the team, proactive with a keen eye for details as well as a sense of the bigger picture
Ability to multitask assignments
Min. 15 years of relevant working experience
Willing to travel to overseas subsidiaries when required
