Finance Manager – Sales & Marketing

I.BASIC PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

Lead, motivate and develop the Management Accounting (Sales and Marketing). Ensure all activities relating to sales & marketing support, financial planning and analysis, budgeting and reporting are properly planned, managed and controlled in accordance with local and Corporate requirements.

Provide contribution to the business growth strategies by planning, improving and implementing critical financial processes and procedures. The list below is key tasks required:
Providing financial expertise and business acumen input for Sales & Marketing to achieve effectiveness in trade investments with proper controlling mechanism.
Ongoing improvement on the planning and controlling for Sales & Marketing financial related processes.
Key contributor in the annual budget and rolling forecast for Sales & Marketingfinancialrelated.
SALES & MARKETING SUPPORT
Supporting both Sales and Marketing departments in all financial aspects of financial and management accounting, in regards aiding sales and marketing managing profitability of their products, product groups, sales region and channels. Provides financial data and information in managing profitability against budget, targets and forecast.

Timely and accurate provision of financial information to Sales and Marketing departments in managing profitability.

SPECIAL PROJECTS
Be fully involved by providing financial expertise and support in ad hoc business projects including but not limited to the implementation of new legislations that impacts the Company, major investment initiatives and business processes re-engineering.

Provision of sound financial inputs and advise to support the ad hoc business projects.

MANAGEMENT INFORMATION CENTRE AND EXCHANGE
Ensure Management Accounting team acts as a management information centre and support other departments’ needs on management information. Adapt existing or introduce best financial business practices to react to changes in business environment.

Co-operate and effectively set the direction for the Management Accounting team to actively participate in bilateral and multilateral exchanges of information, data and opinion with the Sales and Marketing departments in order to contribute to the overall effective performance of the Company.

Management Accounting team being regarded as “key business partner” by the Sales and Marketing as management information provider as well as providing value added financial advise.

VIII. KNOW HOW, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE FOR THIS POSITION

Professional qualification in Finance / Accounting including ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA and CPA or equivalent
6 – 8 years working experience with the last 3 years in managerial capacity in a fast-moving consumer goods or manufacturing environment
Strong management accounting background
Good communication / inter-personal skills and a team player
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and ERP systems
