In line with its mission, the company now seeks a General Manager – Operations to be based in Penang.
Responsibilities.
• Maximize weekly/monthly and annual performance of site (s) by providing focusing on customer requirements and operational performance.
• Contribute to the broader commercial environment, taking responsibility for attracting new and additional business.
• Liaise with DHL customers and business development staff to understand customer supply chain requirements.
• Collect and collate data relating to logistics operations and facilitating the transfer of best practice across the Country from personal experience from within the company.
Requirements.
• Must be conversant in mainly warehousing, transportation and broader supply chain topics.
• Must have experience in or exposure to logistics operations in order to develop operationally feasible solutions
• Good leadership and coaching skills with the ability to engage with individuals across all levels.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/ Supply Chain Management preferred
